Engineering Services Division
The Division is focused on ensuring that buildings are designed and built in compliance with standard code of practice for safe and comfortable habitation and conserving traditional Bhutanese architecture. Furthermore, the Division is also responsible for promotion of high quality, cost-effective, environmentally friendly building infrastructures and adoption of new and appropriate construction materials and technologies.
Our Directives
Contract Administration (Manage variations, extensions of time, and payments to contractors as per contract terms.)
Construction Supervision (Monitor site progress, enforce safety protocols, ensure quality control though inspections.)
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Budget & Financial Management (Track expenditure, maintain project cost control, process contractor bills etc...
Stakeholder Coordination (liaise with other sector/procuring agencies)
Handover and Commissioning (Inspect completed works and formally handover projects to user agencies)
Post Construction Maintenance (During Defect liability period)
